Description :
The function block TON counts forward until the preset value when the activation input (IN) becomes true. If the elapsed time (ET) is greater than or equal to the preset time (PT), the output bit of the timer (Q) is activated. The output bit is reset when the activation input becomes false. When it’s reached the preset time (PT), the timing stops and the timer is deactivated.
The timer TOF has the resolution of 1 ms.
