When the axis resolution cannot be calculated mathematically with the machine data, this page is a tool for the experimental calculation of resolution, or to check it.

Procedure
1Position the axis as far back as possible and so that the start position can be marked.
2Zero the ENCODER reading with the button .
3Jog the axis in a positive direction as far as possible.
4Set the parameter PULSE with the reading given in the parameter ENCODER.
5
Measure the real movement of the axis from the marked start point to the final position and enter the length in the parameter MEASURE.
Enter the whole unit measure that will be used.
E.g. If the length measures 115.3 mm, enter 1153 for tenths of mm or 11530 for hundredths of mm.
IMPORTANT: for a correct operation of the positioner, pay great attention in entering the a lower MEASURE or at most equal to PULSE.
